Does money take up space in your mind?

Does money take up space in your mind on a regular basis?

Not having enough, wishing you had more, wondering how you’ll make it through the next month? Wanting a holiday or to study further but no cash to make it happen. In some way, shape or form, it’s cluttering your mind.

So let me confess something personal here; my desk, computer and phone are very cluttered. I’m always out of space and capacity. I’m known more, for hanging on to things, than clearing them out or deleting them.

clear your mind from money clutter

2016 is my year of re-invention – I knew that my business couldn’t continue it’s high growth trajectory without some radical changes. And I’m risk averse and don’t love change. But intellectually I know that change doesn’t happen until the pain of staying where I am is higher than the pain of changing.

So what have the money, clutter and re-invention got to do with one another?

Change requires energy, lots of it. AND it also begins with the first step. That first step can be a declaration – “I want this area to be different”, then you need ACTION.

My business re-invention has required space, quiet, energy and focus. To achieve that in a business where I spend a LOT of time in service delivery, it’s meant prioritizing SPACE over the habitual BUSY and that’s meant lower income and all the fears that come up around money; being the sole breadwinner and trusting myself to make a success of this…soon before the savings run out.

What do you want to shift?

It’s about clearing the clutter in our money world. When you take that first action to increase your headspace and energy, you show yourself you can make other changes too.

So do it, decide to reach out for support, and together let’s shift the energy in your money world.

So do it. Clearing the clutter is a great first step.

Then invite a friend to support you so have buddy support for your change. That’s a key success tip right there….don’t do it alone.
